Rumors and reports indicate Clint Eastwood will appear in Chrysler's two minute Super Bowl commercial and give the country what some are calling a pep talk. That's all we really know at this point. We have to believe (and we hope) that any ad featuring Eastwood will be nothing short of awesome. Well, we'll know on Sunday.
Well here it is. And it is quite the extravagant production. We like. Created by TBWA\Chiat\Day and titled King's Court, the ad features X Factor winner Melanie Amaro singing a version of Otis Redding's Respect recorded specifically for the ad to a kingly Elton John. The ad was directed by Noam Murro. Pepsi fans who Shazam the spot during the game will be able to view Amaro's music video for Respect.

Oh, Jennifer Connelly. Back in the day - before her Academy Award winning stardom - the girl was just another teen actor with two big assets which she proudly flaunted in the 1990 flick, The Hot Spot, and the 1991 movie, Career Opportunities. And let's not forget The Rocketeer. Watching her on screen was a transfixing experience. It still is. The reaction is just a little different now. A little more grown up.
Anyway, the woman can now be seen as the global spokesperson for Shiseido's skincare line, Future Solution LX. The campaign will debut this fall. Two decades ago, Connelly appeared in one of the brand's product lines which was distributed in Japan.
If Ariana Lima is to be believed in this Teleflora Super Bowl commercial, getting laid by a hottie like Lima...or, more likely, your spouse, partner or otherwise...is as easy as giving a bouquet of flowers. Lima seductively coos to the camera, "Guys, Valentine's Day isn't that complicated. Give and you shall receive." Like anything portrayed in advertising, things are not always what they seem.

Called The Tease, this Danon Oikos Super Bowl commercial features John Stamos and Jessica Blackmore. In the ad Blackmore feeds Stamos some yogurt. But when it's Stamos' turn to feed Blackmore, he becomes a tease making Blackhorn work hard for her bite of Oikos. This being a Super Bowl ad, it's got an ending that, perhaps, won't surprise you. Although if we were John Stamos sitting across the table from Jessica Blackmore, we'd certainly want it to end differently.
Jessica Blackmore has made Who Is That Hot Ad Girl status. You can read all about her here and, yes, see her in her underwear. And at 5' 8" and 116 pounds, she's definitely a stunner. Stamos, 49, should be quite happy he's still qualified to appear in an ad as "significant other" to a woman half his age. Blackmore is 25.
Reportedly, this will be the first yogurt ad ever to air during a Super Bowl. And with perhaps another first, the commercial was directed by 21 year old Remy Neymarc, said to possibly be the youngest person to have ever directed a Super Bowl commercial.

LA-based agency 72andSunny is hard at work on the next Carl's Jr. commercial. The ad will feature Sports Illustrated Rookie of the Year model Kate Upton. Of the selection of Kate, 72andSunny Creative Director Justin Hooper said, "Kate's probably the hottest girl we've ever worked with. We love each of the women we've worked with, but there's something about Kate that's so All-American, so beautiful and very classic."
And of her participation in the campaign, Upton said, "It's the Southwest Patty Melt, and it's one of their classics, but now they're adding a little spice. Adding some jalapeños and making it a little bit hotter. I'm a '50s girl with a little cardigan on, a really sweet kind of a girl. But then I take a bite and all of a sudden, I'm sweating, and I'm taking off all of my clothes and I'm in my lingerie!"
Hmm. Can't wait to see that. But we'll have to. The spot is lated to air in late February.
And it goes on...and on...and on...and one. The parade of previews, teasers and behind the scenes videos leading up to Super Bowl Sunday where all will be unleashed. Except, of course, for Melanie Amaro's boobs. Big as they are, they will not be unleashed for all to see unlike those of Janet Jackson who's "wardrobe malfunction" which led to Nipplegate. But they will jiggle impressively from within the confines of her period piece wardrobe.
Oh yea. Elton John is in the commercial too. Wait, what commercial where we talking about? Oh, we weren't. Sorry, almost forget. Pepsi.

Hey we're supposed to want to ogle hot women wearing bikinis in Super Bowl ads but we imagine that might get quite boring for women after a while. So maybe they'll like this ad from H&M which slow pans David Beckham's briefs-clad body to hype the footballer's new line of underwear.

Mirroring the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, this long version of a RPA-created Honda CR-V commercial that will air during the Super Bowl follows Matthew Broderick throughout his day as he, like his character did in the movie, calls in sick and has a day of adventure.
The 2:20 video, directed by Todd Philips, has a couple dozen Easter egg references to the movie including a reference to Rooney's secretary Grace. See if you can count them all.
The video ties into Honda's ongoing "Leap List" campaign for the 2012 CR-V, which encourages people to do things they've always wanted to do before they make the next big leap in life.
A :10 teaser was released last week and all manner of speculation surrounded the shirt clip but Jalopnick got it right reporting late last week Honda was behind the tease.

Oh yes, people! Ferris Bueller is back! And he's back big time. So big that he'll make an appearance during the Super Bowl. Well, at least that's what this teaser has us believe.
With teaser copy that reads, "We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a "day off" on Monday and catch the big reveal," a :15 teaser on YouTube features Ferris, otherwise known as Matthew Broderick, asking the camera, "How can I handle work on a day like today?'
Some say it's a promo for a sequel to the 1986 original. Others beg it's not a teaser for Viagra or Cialis. He's in a hotel room so it could be for a travel site. There are flowers. It could be for a florist. Who knows.
And this is why we love this teaser so much! Most teasers give the entire story away. This one...well, this one is a true teaser. It could be for anything. We are intrigued!
