Danica Patrick Reluctantly Lives Out Every B-Porn Fantasy. Ever.

godaddy-danica-patrick.jpg

In its latest abuse of its sponsorship, and our eyeballs, GoDaddy sticks racer Danica Patrick in another situational porno-to-be: after pulling her over for speeding, a blonde cop -- bless her heart -- starts stripping down to show Danica she has what it takes to join her horde of URL-buying ad wenches.

Always a team player, Danica fakes it like this whole thing is mildly uncomfortable for her. The ad cuts out in typical GoDaddy fashion; you'll have to see the rest on the homepage after May 24th.

Past Patricksploitation: Danica baring beaver, Danica showers on command (complete with hot grade school teacher!), Danica confesses to enhancements.

Cartoons, Creators, Chali 2Na Cross Paths for Adidas

derrick-rose-head.jpg

Jurassic 5's Chali 2Na brings narrative weight and a forceful, poetic pace to "The Inner Workings of a Creator," a deconstruction of NBA Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose.

Rose is frozen in space. Sections of his body are highlighted and zoomed as 2Na describes what makes the wunderkind tick: yo-yo magic, and a Peregrine falcon, among other things. (Seriously though? Falcons don't eff around. See one take a deer.)

Note how Rose's high-top sneaks are targeted twice.* That's because this piece is for Adidas' "Impossible is Nothing" campaign, a nice transition from the Beijing Olympics subset, which was equally epic and also animated, albeit to a totally different tune.

These particular illustrations are by FreeDarko for agency 180LA. See related material at the Adidas Basketball website.

Peugeot Goes Classic Eletronica With Bond

bond_group_shot.jpg

To aid the launch of its 308 Coupe Cabriolet, Peugeot commissioned female electric string quartet, Bond, to arrange the classical work Four Seasons. You can check out the arrangement here. And you can see the ad here. It's really quite good. The music, that is.

H&M's Matthew Williamson Whets Appetites for Change

hm-matt-williamson.jpg

Diggin' this surreal and totally retro spot for Matthew Williamson's H&M line, which Jeremy Dante was kind enough to throw into our periphery.

It's mod, loungey and aesthetic. Focus on the clothes while your eyes feast on imagery that feeds off '80s decadence (the supermodel heyday), the nouvelle vague, The Shining (--unsettling triplets!), and possibly Puppet Master. (Seriously. That little puppet woman was creepy creepy.)

What's neat is that the ad traverses the tightrope of kitsch without falling over. There's this ridic Prince-meets-Thriller moment where Williamson rises out of the earth, like a self-righteous vampire king, and wins the fawning attention of all the defecting change-seeking femmes. (Compelling. Is it possible Williamson's a Russian military vet?)

The ambient music, We Need a Change, was composed exclusively for the spot by Malcolm Pardon and Fredrik Rinman with lyricist Johan Renck.

Rule of Thumb: Before Molesting Strangers with Nipple Tassles, Be Famous.

nipple-tassles-head.jpg

Berlin agency Aimaq Rapp Stolle promotes HEAD's new "Speed" racquet with a little extra-extra action from Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic. Apparently Speed makes him so virile that he manages to run into the aisle and spit game at a blonde before the ball even returns to him.

But "spit game" is an understatement; the guy busts out with balloon animals (which would've been enough to impress us), boy band moves, nipple tassles, and seals (both animal and Navy).

Curation v. Scraping, Oprah Over Twitter, Financial Fortune Smiles on Facebook

oprah-on-twitter.jpg

- One man's curation is another man's scraping: more on the ongoing drama between pubs that report and 'net-based pubs that aggregate.

- Oprah over Twitter? Guess that means ... absolutely nothing, now that we think about it.

- Stats on motivations of Twitter users. Features graph intros like "A Large Following Doesn't Equate with Intelligence" and "Mixed Feelings about Reciprocity."

- Perspective on your perspectives on Swine Flu.

- Facebook has plen'y of cash, and expects interactive advertising rev to boost sales 70%, COO Sheryl Sandberg ballsily proclaims.

'Stayin' Alive' Reminds Us that Shoes Make the Man...

tiger-jeter.jpg

...and what that has to do with razors, we're sure we have no idea.

Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter and Roger Federer lend modern swagger to Gillette's "Stayin' Alive" -- or try to, anyway.

The video's a wordless recounting of three down-ass blokes whose confidence -- or lack thereof -- shines through their shoes. We'll leave you to see which athlete busts out with the platforms in chrome.

Padma Makes Sweet Masticatey Love to Western Bacon Burger

padma-lakshmi-carls-jr.jpg

AdFreak passed us a peek of that Padma Lakshmi Carl's Jr./Hardee's spot, filmed earlier this year.

It'd be tough to find anything better to say about it than "redefines food porn."

It's a modern update on that voyeuristic Cindy Crawford ad from the late '90s, where homegirl's indulging in a burger while geeky office cogs watch her with lust-saturated expressions. Except in this case, it's you playing voyeur, and Padma's making a lot more naughty with that big messy patty.
