Why Girls Love Social MediaAlong the lines of Google Chrome Coffee and Happy Hour Fail, RankPop has created a hilarious video that takes a look at why girls love social media. Or, perhaps, more correctly, why guys might want to be wary. Paddy Power Hires Jesus, Cravendale Cats Are Back- There's nothing fake about Katy Perry's...Chips. - Check out these NSFW ads for Spanish lingerie brand Jane Pain that aren't actually NSFW. - Paddy Power has enlisted Jesus to help the brand launch in Italy. - A McDonald's billboard targeting Hmong people in St. Louis got its grammar wrong. - The Barbarian Group's Benjamin Palmer discusses the internet's biggest changes over the past ten years and what the future holds. - Not really sure what's being sold here but the video does have three women in lingerie bouncing around on big jumpy balls. Mitsubushi Facebook App Dubs Former Adrants Editor 'Most Pretentious'Oh who would have thought? So we're checking out Mitsubishi's new Facebook app Unpretentious, a witty app that takes a look at your fiends, determines which are the most pretentious and then destroys some of their images and posts with the new 2013 Outlander. The app, created by 180LA, chose none other than former Adrants Editor Angela Natividad as our most pretentious Facebook friend. While we'd never consider Angela to be pretentious in real life, we do sort of envy her Paris-based lifestyle which includes annual trips to the south of France and other exotic locations the world over. And, perhaps tricking up the app into thinking she actually is pretentious, no one can spin a phrase better than Angela. Bonjour, Angela! Lara Stone Does Double Entendre-Filled Breast Flesh Fetish-FestLast month, we shared the news Lara Stone, the model who sports tooth cleavage as well as some of the finest boob cleavage had, again, hooked up with Calvin Klein to, this time, tout the brand's Push Positive lingerie collection and push up bra. At 32D, Stone doesn't really need a push up bra but her pushed up 32Ds sure do look good in this new video, part of the just launched ad campaign. You Won't Ignore These Flight Safety InstructionsOnce you've stepped on a plane, placed your bags in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and sent that last, very important "I'm on a plane" text, you sit back, relax and completely ignore the flight attendants doing their flight safety routine. Unless, of course, the flight safety routine is really a guerrilla marketing stunt like the one in this video. Obama Enlists Harold and Kumar to Promote ConventionYesterday President Barak Obama enlisted some help from Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) in a video hyping the Democratic National Convention. In the video, Obama can be seen making a call and saying, "Hey, this is Barack. Listen, I need to know if you're on board. Cause I'm counting on you. Everybody is. We have to get this right. So there's a lot at stake here. Just remember that I'm trusting you on this, and I'll see you then." The scene then shifts to Cho and Penn sitting on a couch, eating junk food and watching TV. A voiceover at the end promotes Penn as host of convention coverage which begins September 6 in Charlotte, NC. We suppose presidents today have to do whatever they can to reach the public but enlisting a couple of stoner characters to hype viewership for a presidential convention seems to devalue what should be a moment of supreme political importance. Bar Refaeli Makes Flight Attendants Hate Their BodiesBack in May we asked the ladies if watching Bar Refaeli frolic and writhe atop her bed, recline in a bathtub and not smoke a cigar make you want to run out and buy underwear for your man? Or does it just make your boyfriend horny and beg for a quickie? We also wondered if watching Bar's perfection simply made women feel self-conscious about their own less-than-perfect body. Because, let's be honest, no one looks good when compared to a supermodel. This week, after seeing Bar sporting what has to be the hottest flight attendant get up ever created, we wonder whether or not all flight attendants will become whimpering, self-conscious puddles of flotsam never again able to look at themselves in the mirror. |
