Blond Bimbos Babble About Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

sony_experia_bimbos.jpg

It's never polite to laugh at stupid people but when they're actors playing dumb, we guess it's OK. So have fun with this Sony Ericsson video in which three less-than-smart hotties babble on as only bimbos pretending to be stupid can babble. One wants to push a button on her phone to take a shower. Another wants to connect to her dogs and a third, well, she can't even get a coherent thought out. The whole thing's fairly comical.

But our favorite part is when Britney bounces bodaciously while finally getting her thoughts together ("If you're not tech savvy...) at the :40 mark. Now if someone could just make an animated gif of that.

UPDATE: Thanks Dare Digital. Here's Britney doing her bounce.

Selling Motorcycles Insurance 101: Hot Babes with Big Boobs

bennetts_babes_lucy_pinder.jpg

Call it lowest common denominator marketing. Call it the decline of civilization. Or...call it magnificently mouthwatering marketing. Bikes and boobs. The two are seemingly made for each other and Bennetts is keenly aware of this.

To celebrate the motorcycle insurance brand's 80th birthday, the Bennetts Babes, including the stunningly stacked Lucy Pinder, get wet and soapy and frolick while over-serious photographers capture their every wiggle and jiggle.

Adidas Pulls $10M iAd Campaign After Three Rejections

Adidas-300x202.jpg

According to the Business Insider, seemingly sick of Steve Jobs' control issues, Adidas has canceled a $10 million iAd campaign after its submitted campaign was rejected three times. It's not a first, however. In August, Chanel walked away after too much meddling by Apple with its creative.

Adidas isn't commenting and neither is Apple other than to say it believes Adidas will still advertise on the platform.

But Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz is commenting and she thinks Apple's going to be in trouble with it's strict stance on iAd acceptance. In an interview with Reuters, she said, "That's going to fall apart for them. Advertisers are not going to have that type of control over them. Apple wants total control over those ads."

Clothing Retailer Hosts Peep Show to Pimp Fall Fashions

daffys_display_window.jpg

New York Retailer Daffy's needed to attract some attention to itself and its new line of fall fashions. To do so, it held a fashion show in it's display windows and let passersby text comments to the models in the window. Predictably, many texts just asked the models to take all their clothes off.

But the models had a good time responding to the crowds texts directly and taking off as much as possible without, of course, getting in trouble with the police.

Arquette and Cox Hump Like Bunnies For Battered Women

opcc_arquette_cox.jpg

You can see this one coming a mile away but it's still funny to see David Arquette dressed like a rabbit get it on with his wife, Courtney, who's also dressed as a rabbit. Or is she? It's all to call attention to domestic violence on behalf of Santa Monica-based OPCC.

TBWA\Chiat\Day\LA created.

Benjamin Moore Offers Freedom, Simplicity and...Um...Versality?

benjamin_moore_versality.jpg

Unless you can find the word "versality" in the dictionary, it looks like a Benjamin Moore POP suffered a proofreading oversight. Writing on Dumb As A Blog, Susie Felber wrote, "What is Benjamin Moore's marketing department on? And do they need a new copywriter? 'Cause I am available." Well, BM, give Susie a call because it seems you need a better copywriter. Or at least a proofreader.

16 Scene Mashup Promotes Vancouver Film Festival

warden.jpg

To promote the Vancouver International Film Festival, TBWA\Vancouver created a film called The Warden that is divided into 16 scenes and will release one scene each day of the festival non-linearly. Viewers can then go online to thewardensixteen.com and rearrange the scenes together in an effort to piece the story together. Somehow, this will get people excited for the festival. Somehow.

Threatened Prep School Teacher Pleads Her Case on YouTube

elise_freeman.jpg

To promote Jonathon Kellerman's new book, Deception, which features Dr. Alex Delaware as a forensic psychologist for the LAPD who is investigating the murder of Windsor Prep Academy teacher Elise Freeman, a video of "Elise Freeman" has been seeded on YouTube.

In the video, the woman outlines the abuse she has been receiving at the school and offers the video up as a clue to who her murderer might be.

Accompanying the video is a website with background on the case and clues to solve it. In addition, there's a "criminal empathy test" to determine which type of criminal one might most identify. Why? We have no idea.
