Maxi Pads Do More Than Live Between A Woman's Legs
If you've ever wondered what a menstrual pad does when it's not between a woman's legs, this video might help provide an answer to that crucial question. In this video for Seventh Generation's chlorine-free feminine products, a guy dressed as a pad goes about his innocuous daily routine just so we can all feel...well...according to the press release "at ease with the topic of periods." Not that anyone educated past grade nine should really have a burning phobia about feminine hygiene but apparently some do, hence the creation of the supposedly educational video. Either that or it's some sick fantasy for guys who like nothing better than to spend the entire day between a woman's legs.
It all points to a website, launched earlier this year, called Tampontification which "aims to open the lines of communication regarding menstruation within the American culture and give women an open forum in which to feel at ease with the topic." The site is filled with all kinds of euphemisms, humor and even a tour during which Tampon Fairies will travel the country putting freaked out women at ease. While we never realized the epic seriousness of this issue, we hope you'll find it within your collective hearts to be understanding and supportive of this "taboo topic."

this is not periodical rather tangentle:
brings joy to having to move, finding a new pad and packing it all up! I may be strange, but for a guy carrying this out --wow factor flipped me.
This headline is like a car wreck, and yes -- I watched it.

hmmmm..... i prefer pads to tampons because tampons always freaked me out a bit. Pads were a safer haven.
Now after seeing the hairy man, salad eating, yoga version of a pad, I have nowhere to turn.
Yikes.
operator error. sorry.
I was actually a bit let down that the video wasn't as funny as the photo made it out to be.
I had higher, wrong, wrong, beautifully funny, but wrong hopes.
what, when he wiped his chin in his pad? His choice of foods.
I admit he could have done something with the "it has wings!" But it could have been the firsttime out of the box and quiet packaging that tempered the timidness on that flight.
Ever wonder why people hate advertising? Jeesh.
First big big problem is it's a male!! Then it goes down hill real quick after that. "Raton" is right. I am a long long long time male and this is not funny and has no place in this world.
I don't get it. Where's the funny?
