New York Daily News Buys Ad In New York Post
In perhaps some sort of inside Advertising Week joke, Rupert Mudoch-owned New York Post is running ads for Mort Zuckerman-owned New York Daily News. Perhaps one of the two lost some sort of bet while comparing who had the hottest girlfriends and wives. Or, perhaps, there's a deal in place for one to buy the other and an over eager ad sales rep jumped the gun on accepting cross-media ads. Or, we're just dumb and there's a perfect good explanation for this.

wow! Last month The NY Observer was running 200x200 banners for the WSJ. hmm.
;)
My guess is that the post gives up their unsold media to an ad network, which ran Daily News ads. Either the post didn't do a good job of listing who they didn't want running or the network did a bad job of making it happen. Yet another reason not to use networks...
I think it's great. What better place to attract readers of NY smut than The Post.
Maybe because print media is loosing steam so they're putting away their differences and creating an alliance of some sort.
Fever- I think you have hit the nail on the head...my guess.
