Agency Creates World's Largest Balloon Fight For Xbox Ad
Attempting to capture the "real life gaming experience of the new Xbox 360, Sydney agency Lava Communications created a commercial centered around the world's largest water balloon fight on Cooge beach in Sydney for a commercial. It looks like the shoot was a lot of fun and, yes, it does end with the proverbial "people forming letters" skycam shot. Still, we like it.

Ok listen up all you ad thickheads - we don't need a freakin' world-record water balloon fight - do you understand that all the minimum wage paid balloon picker-uppers will neglect a large percentage of the ruptured rubber, and probably it will get eaten by birds or other unsuspecting creatures, or just stay on the beach for all to enjoy. This kind of crap is everywhere in the whole marketing bulls&*$t game, like Sony's rubber ball and new paint gimmick - it is ecologically irresponsible, wasteful, and quite frankly lame and cliche.
Get some awareness and originality.

I thought it was pretty cool... even if the widdle birdie wirdies get their widdle beaky weakies all messed up!
Cool event, lame shooting and cutting and bullshit track all add up to a really B-I-G miss.
