Newsflash! New, 100 Percent Approved Work for JCPenney!
Despite this week's drama over the Saatchi & Saatchi - "created" faux commercial for JCPenney, Grow Interactive, working with Saatchi & Saatchi double assures this new work for the retailer is, yes, APPROVED BY THE CLIENT! Now that that's out of the way, take a look at Rock Your Look, a new website developed as a sort of karaoke contest which awards the winner a trip to the stage at this year's Teen Choice Awards.
Grow Interactive's Eric Green said, "We're especially excited about the site, because not only did we make it super simple for the user to record and customize their entry, using only their webcam, but we took advantage of YouTube's newly released APIs, automatically and seamlessly uploading all videos/entries to YouTube.
Hmm. Teen-focused online karaoke game? Teen-focused television commercial that actually speaks to the generation rather than preaches to it? Sounds like the perfect combo. Maybe Speed Dressing should have been approved after all.
Comments
as expected, the work APPROVED BY THE CLIENT is corny and contrived.
I think I like the JCP fake ad much better. This APPROVED ad is gay.
