Thirsty for a Mother's Love? Hit a Mother's Milk Bank
Advanta Bank Corp's ideablob, which awards cash to entrepreneurs with great small business ideas, just handed Naomi Bar-Yam $10,000 for her business.
Bar-Yam is the co-founder of Boston's Mother's Milk Bank of New England.
*canned laughter*
The world probably laughed at blood banks, too. And sperm banks!
The Milk Bank provides screened, pasteurized breastmilk to premature or sick babies. Bar-Yam says premature babies that get "banked" milk are less likely to suffer potentially fatal complications. They also recover more quickly than babies whose milk isn't banked. (We think that's Milk Bank marketing-speak for "breastmilk-fed babies" versus "non-breastmilk-fed babies.")
Got an equally useful idea? ideablob.com is giving away $10,000 a month.

I suggest a breast bank for lonely males, or females who may be inclined that way.
Seriously, the world would be a better place if the feminine spirit was not so repressed.
Interesting business. I think its a great idea.
