Beer! Babes! Bikinis! Nudity! Yup, It's Another Beer Site

skinny_blonde_beer.jpg

Just when we thought beer advertisers were cleaning up their act, Australia's Skinny Blonde gives us a six pack of...skinny blonds to play with. And by play with we mean, yes, undress then with a click of the mouse.

Oh how the stereotypical beer drinker is so easily amused.

On the site, you first choose for favorite beer babe. Then, with a handy thermometer, you turn up the heat until your girl is so hot she simply must remove her top exposing her not so skinny...top. Yes, there is nudity but only if you apply heat.

And as if to scream, "Hey! we're not completely objectifying women for the pleasure of our beer drinking friends," there's a fully clothed staring competition. We didn't stare long enough to see if anything....oh wait...something does, indeed, happen. We take back everything we just said about all that objectification stuff.

This is a perfect example of the sexist way women can be portrayed in beer adverts, and it’s pretty shocking in this day and age!

I work for the BitterSweet Partnership, which has been set up by Molson Coors in the UK to address the fact the beer industry has traditionally ignored women. 42% of women we polled said changing beer advertising is one of the biggest things that could be done to make it more appealing to them, and it’s one of many things we’ll be addressing. Looking at something like this makes it obvious it’s a change that can’t come soon enough...
