Shocker! First Female Polygamist Revealed!
So Australia promotes itself with "Where the bloody hell are you?" and mini cinematic masterpieces by Baz Luhrmann. How do the "cool capitals" of Europe do it? With CoolCapitals.com, of course. The site highlights Amsterdamn, Antwerp, Valencia, Vienna and Zurich. Sounds boring, right?
Not really. The site is...um...cool. Nice navigation. Informative videos. Pretty pictures. And lots of deals. All good but what makes this offering from the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions really cool is the promotional video that gets one to the site.
Entitled "World's First Female Polygamist" tells the story of Francine Fleiss, a woman who, for over a decade, fooled five men in five cities into believing each of them was the only man in her life. Of course, it all unravels docu-scandal style including cheeky interviews with the five husbands, stereotypical caricatures of archetypal men caught in...OMG...a web of lies!
The featured cities in the video tie nicely to the five cities that are part of CoolCapitals. The story is well crafted, well produced and does a great job keeping people interested in the story line long enough to experience the pay off.
