Replacing Bush With Ivy.

29.jpg

Or something. Wrapping up some election material, CollegeClickTv.com, a site that helps college-bound students decide where they want to spend their parents' money for the next four, five, six, seven years, did a print piece that went to Congress showing what an Ivy League administration might look like. (Will the lobbying madness ever stop?) Thing is, didn't Bush stumble through Yale, thus already qualifying him for Ivy League status?

I've been sent that ad three times in the last three days. Whatever agency did it must have put it out before the actual election? Smart. Who is the agency behind it?

I'm sure he stumbled! But I do believe that both Obama and his wife went to Ivy League Schools. And I'm sick of people sending me this ad, which I suppose was the viral strategy behind it? Cool shot though.

Hats off to whatever agency did it.

Cool website. Just checked it out. You have to see some of their other ads. Really great work. This site seems to have come from no where to all over the place overnight? I keep seeing some guy associated with it all over the talk show circuit as the latest greatest pop up political expert and the site seems to be coming along for the ride? Who is doing all this stuff? Is this an overnight phenomenon or did I miss the memo that it's been around forever? I miss a lot of memo's, so that's certainly possible.

Arghhhhhhh. You can google this. It's an ad guy. His name is Glenn Pere. He's not as easy to find on google, but it looks like his agency does a lot of entertainment stuff. And a PR guy. That guy is slick at getting messages out. Seen him on TV for years. Not "slick" in a bad way. Although Mr. PR Guy you could use a better haircut. If I wasn't so petty and jealous (hey-I'm being honest), I actually admire him. But I am petty and jealous, so I don't.

I HATE when agencies have the chutzpah to be their own clients and it works. I want to be my own damn client. Don't we all? And you know those guys are going to pocket a fortune when someone big and smart buys them. That must be their play here?

Why is it that I never work at an agency that does this? Clients...well...never mind. My name is on here. I love clients. Love. Love. Love. My clients are all so smart. It's such a pleasure to be in this industry.

Bush not only went to Yale, he got his MBA from the same school as Obama (Harvard). So, I guess education has the power to "destroy and divide" as well as "change"... I went to a state school though, so I don't have the power to do crap...

I've gotten this ad sent to me four times today? Obviously a viral ploy going on over at CollegeClick. Not bad. Not bad at all.
