Marc Jacobs to Make Suburban Dads Squirm
For some, imagery of schoolgirls (or any female for that matter) in pleated, plaid miniskirts presents an irresistible urge to let fantasy fun rampant and to, well, just be really, really bad. While that imagery may not be what Marc Jacobs, who signed Russian duo t.A.T.u. (Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova) to front his fall fashion campaign, intends to foist on the public, one does wonder just how he will present the fun-loving couple in upcoming campaigns.
The pair have been out of the limelight for a while but that won't really matter. Marc Jacobs will doll them up (or down) and present them in a deliciously delectable manner easily obsessed over by all. Lesbians. Rocks stars. What's not to love?
Where Marc Jacobs takes these girls isn't know at this point but if he does decide to mashup both the actual use of the pleated, plaid miniskirt worn by actual school girls attending actual private schools with the porn industry's fantasy version of the look, suburban dads may be in for a bit of awkward squirming when their daughters' friends show up at the house all tarted up in the Marc Jacobs version of the seemingly irresistible pleated, plaid miniskirt.

what's not to love? oh, the fact that they fell out of the limelight in '03 because too many people discovered it was all play acting when they were hoping for something more. or didn't they tell you that both of these fine ladies had boyfriends? can't attest to that now, mind you, cos i don't follow tatu, but i doubt much has changed. just look at katy perry.
