Adrants Sleeps Through Barnes & Noble Quamut Promotion
Sometimes public relations professionals send things a bit early in the game so as to favor you with a scoop of sorts. Not that this was the case last week with a press release for a Barnes & Noble graffiti promotion that landed in the Adrants inbox but, for some reason, it's still sitting there, unpublished. Today, it's published on Animal.
So with a link and a smile, the release announced Barnes & Nobles' hiring of famed graffiti bomber COPE2, who created the famed Time Inc. billboard, to paint an 18 wheeler to promote Quamut, a how to site. The truck was emblazoned with COPE2's trademark work along with the headline, "How do you remove a stubborn stain?" Offering the chance to win $5,000 by texting responses, the truck will make its way throughout New York City.
