Supermarket Campaign Offers Booty, Boobs, Package to Boys
While we think we've seen this campaign before, the onslaught (yes, even we are subjected to that poor girl's plight) of campaign after campaign after campaign has dulled even our heightened sense of advertising awareness. Then again, you all know, when it comes to a certain style of advertising, our senses are always peaked.
So, courtesy of Ogilvy Germany, we're happy to share with you a campaign which features bulbous booty, protruding package and bulging breasts. Of course, we really mean apricots, bananas and oranges? But from this campaign, who can really tell what's being sold to us here. While some emay accuse us of having an obsessive, one track mind, even we don't want images of ass, dick and boobs in our face while we're picking out our produce. Then again, maybe this campaign is trying to get 16 year old boys interested in eating healthy rather than consuming red-wig-no-more Wendy's obesity burgers.
After all, 16 year old boys do wish they'd find hot ass and big boobs in the produce section along with giant dicks they can attach to themselves to impress their girlfriends.

Oh, yes: I saw a much more effective and less sex related outdoor and print campaign of an Italian supermarket chain (Esselunga - Armando Testa was the AD agency).
