New VitaminWater Campaign is Neither Powerful Nor Glorious
In tangent with Don McNabb and "some weird old guy" (who looks a lot like Orville Redenbacher back from the grave), VitaminWater put together a campaign called The POWER and the GLORY.
The ad pokes fun at drama-ridden film trailers with heavy voices and against-all-odds themes prevalent in underdog action films. We think it's corny, actually, and have only this to say in response.

OOO-FA! What's this thing all about? I thought CP+B was doing the Vitamin Water account? This looks like the embarrassing beginning to a bad campaign. I mean, making McNabb wear that generic white jersey just shows Glaceau doesn't have the scratch to pay the NFL or the Eagles. And bringing his mom into the mix? Chunky Soup called, and they want...actually, they don't want their idea back. You can keep it.

The campbell soup ads were kind of lame with McNabb and his mim. This one is better its supposed to be funny.
