WTF Campaign for WTF Yields Desired WTF Response

wtf_tree.jpg

Here at Adrants, we sometimes receive things that are so beyond weird, we can't help but utter, "what the fuck?" Usually this utterance leads to a quick toss off of the work courtesy of the delete button or , conversely, it motivates us to craft a little story about it because, well, we like weird, WTF stuff. Now, it seems, someone has turned our "what the fuckness" into an actual campaign. Yes, Bos Toronto has created a new campaign aptly called WTF? for Canadian retailer Mac's Convenience.

In one of the campaign's videos, we're not sure what kind of fluid is flowing out of that tree but apparently the girls like its "what the fuck" goodness. See that oddity here and all the rest here. There's an accompanying poster campaign here and POP here. Past Mac's oddities include Whack and the disturbingly disgusting Zit. Eew.

Thx for the smiles Steve. While we all know utter is a comparative adjective it has other meanings too and can be used as a verb. The double meanings abound and delight. Additionaly utter and udder both come to mind aftr hearing WTF five or six times. (five or sex?)Its easy to understand that certain utterances lead to quick toss off ... thoughts ...flood the mind and prevent other thoughts from interfering with the mission critical directive to defenistrate millions of replicants in potential to the exclusion of all else including, sadly, spelling and punctuation. Isn't that why WTF is so powerful?
