Axe Does More Bom Chicka Blah Blah
We are not a fan of Axe's new "Bom Chicka Wah Wah" thing but since we're not Bob Garfield who claims he's always right when he reviews commercial work, we're gonna let you have a look and decide for yourselves. We will say with rampant rebellion against the stuff trickling up from the hallways of high schools across America from girls who can't stand guys who wear the stuff and end up smelling like they just finished a shift at a Macy's fragrance counter, this current idiocy isn't going to help matters much. Oops, that was an opinion, wasn't it? Sorry.
Oh and the two videos here and here are supposed to be part of one of them new fangled viral campaign thingies everyone's been talking so much about. Call us crazy but doesn't something have to "go viral" before it can be labeled viral? We really need a new term here.

I love this campaign. I think its a great insight. And they are funny! You may not like it....but you cant help yourself from talking about it!
The Axe Boost "infomercial" viral has 577,645 views on YouTube. Is that considered viral enough?
i wonder how many comments on this page are from the Agency responsible...note to creatives... congratulations on bringing back the "if you don''t have an idea, use a catchphrase" style of advertising.
It sucks. Its not innovative, creative or viral. It makes me CRINGE in horror at the image of hot women saying "Bom Chicka Blah Blah" at some acne covered teenage boys.
235,406 views for just one so far, actually:

And these spots weren't meant to be 'viral'.
Liz and Max, yes, those videos have earned viral status. I'm not talking about those videos though.
I dunno, I like them. They made me laugh, because I can't believe they got away with singing obvious porn music. I don't like the one in the restaurant though...that one does make me cringe.
