Agency Says Connection to Consumer Cannot Be Found, Offers Solution
Atlanta-based agency WestWayne has modified it website to resemble the classic 404 Page Not Found page. Humorously, yet very insightfully, the page reads, "The consumer you are trying to sell products or services to has been disconnected from your brand."
The page then offers suggestions such as, "Stop calling them consumers, they are people" and "Build a relationship with them and they will return the favor."
It's a daring move for an agency to make. To forgo all that Flashtastic, ego-driven drivel no one cares about in favor of a simple, straight forward message is truly commendable.

Wow - did an intern come up with that while everyone was at lunch? Probably explains why they haven't won any new business in 3+ years
my guess is it's a temp. placeholder created + placed by some admin when their webserver went down... the original post is on brentter.com, I've emailed them for an explanation but have only gotten a "out of town for the next week" email(btw.....thats after emailing friends@westwayne.com which is the email addy they pitch on the page)...
interesting. BUT, what they hell do they do? Would be nice if they offered more info through another link. Just a thought.
innovative, daring...
but, is the only way to find out more by sending an email?
who are they, where are they, what do they do???
they caught my interest but there is somewhat of a disconnect...
