Men Speak Blunt Truth in Book Campaign
The Silly Girl points to a set of hilarious videos which promote the Harper Collins book The Average American Male by Chad Kultgen. In the videos, the usual scenes between male an female take place (woman tells man she loves him, man shocked at dinner bill, man put in awkward position when girlfriend's Dad wonders when he will propose to his daughter) but rather than the men in the videos responding as one might expect, they respond more truthfully than many might like to think.

Umm, no this was totally expected. How many times has this been done- its your average beer commercial. I guess the average american male is 15 yrs old? Pathetic at best.
So men are led around by their penises, what is not expected here?
I thought it was going to be guys showing another side of themselves, that would be unexpected.
I don't get it. Why would someone need to buy a book to figure out this stereotypical garbage?
If one could imagine a penis's point of view, vocalized, then these vids are perfectly primeval and filled with ungovernable fantasy. Males are constantly tangling with their primal urges and social compunctions and these vids are as hard to look away from as a bloody car wreck on US 95.
As Rumpleforeskin once quipped during a magick session replete with semisynthetic organic compounds derived from ergot: "The penis never lies. It seeks warm, wet orifices without conscience interference."
