Chuck Encourages Chucking. What?
We never cease to be perplexed by this running Converse campaign for Chuck Taylors.
"Get Chucked." Isn't chucking slang for spewing the vom? Is this some sort of lame attempt at reappropriating the term? Maybe Converse should talk to the clever societal puppeteers who managed to alter the meanings of "nigga" and "queer."

And why kill those nice flowers?
The picture is perplexing. What is the point of him looking like he is peeing in a toilet that is outside, and has plants in it.
To turn your brand name into a verb is what all brands hope for in the end, but it must happen naturally, as in Xerox or Google.
"Do you Yahoo!?"
"Do you Zappos?"
Failing miserably.
I love how the red Converse star falls perfectly on the right place for the shoe.
Much rather see a black and white shoot that feels (commercially) rough and ready, than a bunch of smiling models for Gap.
And I'd be surprised if the target group of young 20's this ad is aimed at didn't find it attractive to see the use off the brand name used in a slogan like 'Get Chucked'. I think it's kinda cool.
does anyone know the name of the guy who is peeing?
