'Appetite for Destruction' ads play on 9/11 Turf
At the corner of Rector and Washington in New York, Giovanni's Atrium has begun a storefront campaign that's generating more attention than restaurant windows usually get. Showcasing "The happiest Happy Hour south of ground zero," its posted menu includes lines like "Hot and Cold Antipasto Table to tantalize your appetite" ... "for destruction?" quips Gawker.
Hey, marketing's competitive in the Big Apple. They definitely got our attention. It's advertising in bad taste, but we can't help but ask ourselves if it's actually bad advertising. - Contributed by Angela Natividad

Actually, it's menu does NOT say ""Hot and Cold Antipasto Table to tantalize your appetite... for destruction!"".
If you actually read Gawker's post, that's they're writing, not what the menu actually says.

Clarified. Thanks Ariel
Giovani is a good listener. Stop in and he will bend over backwards to make you smile. Nice buffet food at the bar during happy hour. People remember The Atrium treated them nice after the first wtc bombing in feb 93. One of the best places for a romantic rendezvous south of the Site. A popular gathering place that has somehow defied the odds and survived the loss of most of their patrons. Carr Futures, Cantor, the JOC crew all met here for laughs. (rip)
Yeah, that's great. And what kind of clients are they getting? Thieves, drama queens and serial killers? What you promote is what you get.
stop! you are too funny! LOL!
