Exxon's PR Agency Possibly Behind Spoof of Al Gore's Film
Like everyone else, it's Al Gore's turn to be spoofed on YouTube. While Exxon and its PR firm, Washington-based DCI Group, deny having anything to to with it, the creator of Al Gore's Penguin Army, a video that spoofs Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, 29-year-old "Toutsmith" was found by the Wall Street Journal to be using an email address that tracked back to DCI Group. He would not tell the Journal who he was or why he made the video. Oh now let's see. Al's movie slams oil companies. Exxon in an oil company. Nah. There's no connection there.

If this is the work of Exxon and their PR firm, they should both be ashamed. Not only is it an inappropriate act considering the business Exxon is in, the video isn't even funny. The only thing slightly amusing about it is that they think they could get away with this.

This is disgusting. 100 percent of the climatologists researching global warming agree to both its existence (duh!) and its cause, and only the Bush administration, the oil companies, and the people with Stockholm syndrome linking them to the two believe otherwise. My god I hate these people.
My god I hate fascists who demonize dissent.
Not only that, this video’s (mis)use of the Linux “Tux the Penguin” mascot falls somewhere between rudeness and open copyright infringement.
I even made a video (without corporate support) saying so: “Al Gore’s Penguin Army” Video Misuses Linux Mascot.
