Philips Bodygroom Adds An Inch to Manhood
Philips/Norelco is marketing its new Bodygroom razor by focusing on what all men want: a bigger dick. Yes, following what the porn industry has known for years, the company is promoting the razor's ability to add an "optical inch" to one's manhood by making the trimming of that area simple, painless and rewarding size-wise. Forget five bladed razors. Gillette's beat that one to death. Now, it's all about removing body hair from hard to reach places and catering to men's obsession with size. Hey, woman want cleavage enhancing bras. Men ought to have a similar weapon at their disposal as well.

While the appeal of using this approach may be strong to Philips, I feel they are "off brand." It could have been classier and still entertained. They could have maintained a broader appeal.
I thought this was hilarious. They are clearly aiming at young men, and it's just funny. Plus, it's working. People are talking about it and passing the URL around. That's WOM people.
Holy crap, check out the How to Buy section. It's done in the style of a 1950's-looking educational film. In it, the Bodygroom guy pulls out a cardboard cutout of a creepy-looking store manager. That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a web site or otherwise. I can only imagine how much fun those guys had making this site. Great attention to detail. Well done, Philips/Norelco and its ad agency!
Incidentally, this site must be blowing up the sales charts. The product is now listed at #1 in Health & Personal Care.
