Assvertising Makes Return In Italy
Assvertising has been around for so long. We know who invented it and, even though it's bootie we're talking about, we're tired of it. Yea right. We'll take any opportunity to stick a hot ass up here so when we received a press release from Southern Italy's MTN telling us about their latest self promotional stunt, we got busy. The agency hired a few women to prance about in Italian cities and flash their asses for passersby to gawk at. Yawn. Oh wait. No. That's hot! The appropriately named Adverbox has a bunch of pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Should I be proud that ass-vertising has arrived to Italy? :-(
Sure! Finally in Italy, an Italian Agency, use this non conventional media... till now only foreign company used assvertising and created buzz in the net. I think that MTN is a brave company (also 'cause they operate in South Italy, "a non marketing area") and you'ld be proud of them.
I do not agree with Frank. It's a failed campaign, and assvertising is not so hot. I do not see any goal in it. Marketing men and women (the target people for MTN) should not be attracted from asses, but from ideas...
I see the buzz MTN has generated (failed campaign?) and I think: it's not a big result?
Who knew them 'till yesterday?
Neuville, I think the target people may be reached. Maybe for MTN ass-vertising is only the first step...
I agree with Alexandra. Buzz, WOM, link... Many people (also marketing man and woman) are talking about MTN!
Neuville, Martina... you too!
If the goal was to give a bad feedback... yes, I'm talking about it. I feel the generated buzz does not meet the company requirements to make business. If the company had some...
In fondo siete 4 scemi...tutti italiani e parlate inglese!!!
parlate come mangiate! ;)
Actually,, CUNNING did this years and years ago for FHM, so we invented it ;P
To be honest, I'm so bored of this now...
NEXT!
And even before that the minnow PROJECT started and patented Abvertising 10 years ago. It was all over Jay lEno and Ripleys and CNN at the time.
