Kelly Services' Virtual Break Room Bores
There's nothing fun about temping and there's nothing fun about this little promotional thingy for Kelly Services called Virtual Break Room. Perhaps it's trying to be funny by portraying the break room, the decor, the technology and the pocket protector-wearing worker doofus in some sort of anachronistic, 1970's-style mashup but to us, that just says, "You're an idiot. You can't find a real job so you better give Kelly a call."
OK, so maybe it's better than a "hot intern" scenario where lascivious middle-aged men, sick of their aging wives and boring lives operate hidden "intern cams" to view barely legal, mini-skirted hotties cross and uncross their legs under their desks, view inappropriately dressed summer interns shake their thong and low-rider-clad asses as they walk down the hallway to the copy machine and, with a shirt mounted button-cam connected to a pair of eyeglasses, catch a perfect view of bulging cleavage without appearing to stare like a drooling 16 year old.
Or, maybe it's not.

Wow, that's clever and quite a unique interface, (although it's sometimes confusing). If only job searches were that much fun in the real world.
I think it's hilarious. And it helps to lighten job-searching which is a rather serious and anxious process for most people.
i think it's cool. so there.
I like it. I would have made the character woman, since traditional thinking tells us that the female has a harder time finding work, especially around Franks age.
