Some Editing Converts Coffee Cups Into Self Esteem Message
While self-esteem isn't exactly the sort of thing one seeks when buying a cup of Seattle's Best coffee but, as Not Only But Also points out, the stupid legal message on coffee cups explaining to morons that coffee is, well, hot, also, with a bit of editing, delivers the nice, self-esteem building statement, "you are extremely hot." I was doing that 10 years ago when I was a 'barista' at starbucks. I'd give them to the hottest customers. (On retrospect: was it in hopes that on discovery they'd read it and realize just how creepy that was?)
Oh, and on another note...I also invented the 'green bean-to-dark roast' display. But Starbucks Corp never me credited me on. But that's cool, as I am a benevolent educator.
A-HA! So they admit that their coffee is extremely hot. So if I burn myself I can say,"See the message on the cup, They admit that they are guilty of serving something dangerous. Neat! I'm gonna be rolling in dough.
