Shocker! All Press Release Quotes Are Fake
Not that we didn't all know this already but here, thanks to Gawker's ever transparent editorial staff, is proof positive, albeit embarrassingly for Hyperion who forgot to turn off "track changes" prior to sending its release, all press release quotes are fabricated and that no human being actually utters the wording we read every day in news articles pulled from releases.

It's nice when the PR makes it sound as if you are actually intelligent and know waht it is that you are talking about.
I'm outraged that PR professionals would do such a thing. I'm even more outraged that the strikethrough HTML code wasn't working in this post; this comment came very close to being funny.

Guess someone should have offered that advice to their PR agency...
