Nintendo Revolution Unveiled in Commercial

nintendo_revolution.jpg

Rick Bruner has pointed us to this very cool commercial for the recently unveiled and soon to be released Nintendo Revolution game controller which, as the name indicates, intends to revolutionize the game control. The Revolution has done away with wires and now looks like a television remote. It transmits the player's every hand motion, wirelessly to a receiver which is connected to the TV. The ad does a great job demonstrating the units use and the freedom it gives to gamers.

Yes, why?

"Cool commercial like big American boy."

No, the link doesn't go where it should - it's a way to get people to not hotlink to the ad.

If you go to the 3Yen site, though, and follow the post to the commercial, you can see it. It is pretty cool.

Every time I click on it, I go directly to the Quicktime video no problem. And what company wouldn't want their ad seen?

I think it's a hotlinking issue. Each time I click through, I get a hotlink.gif that says "meet cute girls (free!)" at the site.

I agree - it's a great commercial, and the fact is that 3Yen got the commercial from IGN anyway. They might disable hotlinking, though, to save on bandwidth issues. I've seen it before.
