'Chicken Little' Promoted With Art Gallery Chickens
To promote the upcoming Disney movie, Chicken Little, Boston-based marketing firm, ALT TERRAIN, enlisted 30 artists/influencers to transform unpainted vinyl Chicken Little characters into anything the artists chose for a bi-coastal gallery show and online auction. The first show was held May 19 at Meltdown in Los Angeles. The second show will be held June 16 at 360 Toy Group in New York. Check out some of the artists' work here.

This idea is so tired. I've seen the same set of artists work on record sleeves, skateboards, shopping bags, shoes, bricks, wine bottles, eggs, shirts, hats, basketballs... you name it.
Disney? Chicken Little? I mean cmon... This is just gross and inappropriate.
I know! To promote Herbie the Lovebug to hipsters and get blogs to post about it, let's get the same bunch of 'urban' artists together to paint on car headlights. Then we can then project them on walls of galleries. *gag*
forgot to mention that we will have shephard fairey dj and cornerstone will provide the redstripe and mix cd... media sponsor by beautiful decay of course...
Wow 35mm... People are gonna think you're me. I kind of agree with the same set of artists thing. And yes the Japanese toy thing is kind of getting old. However, I love the DJ Shephard Fairey thing, its the only thing missing from this promotion. As far as Cornerstone, those guys are doing it right, I wouln't lump them in there, but you could add say, Vapors magazine, lol.
