Panera Launches Faux Blog
Adrants reader JoAnna, who publishes ChefBlog received, on a recent blog post, what she believed to be comment spam from a faux blog set up for Panera bread company. Read the comment on JoAnna's post here. Then, visit the Panera blog, where JoAnna has left a comment of her own on the blog's only post calling the bluff, and decide for yourself. Loyal Panera fan or lame, uninformed blog marketing effort? We're leaning toward the latter. It just wreaks.

The intro to that blog reads like a bad brief. I'd send it back to the AE/planner with the comment, "it's a damn SANDWICH SHOP, not the Dali Lama's inner sanctum."
i think they took it down. i get an error message now when i click on the link to the blog. I get PR crap in my comments too.
"reeks"
The blog is not there and although your blog says you can use a typekey identity, you are apparently not signed up for it
And aren't they stealing the idea directly from that tacky "howdiditgoin.com" guy? Fake student publishing fake study that features brand?
I didn't like the idea the first time.
A colleague of mine who works with Panera let me know that is was actually an advertising firm wanting to impress Panera and win some business from them that created the blog. Not smart and not well done.
I think that they showed that have very little understanding on how to use blogs as a marketing tool.
I disagree.

HI,
Of course it may be a false idea to create a faux blog.So better try some useful blog by discussing with the experienced.
