Billboard Says 'Police Roll Doobie'
OK, this is just weird. Completely unimportant in terms of relevant advertising news but amusing all the same. Where stoned billboard workers pissed off at someone? Did they run out of letters trying to spell something out? Did the police actually roll a doobie? Please, we need our morning fix of irrelevance.
UPDATE: One commenter surmises this to be a teaser for a music store or iPod. As in "police, roll ing stones and doobie brothers.

And about a mile down the road, you'll see the follow-up billboard:
"Cops Get Donuts"
i bet it is a music store - the police, roll ing stones and doobie brothers.
or i-pod: mix your music and see what comes up . . .
Joe...that is a very good observation. And what better way to make a first impression than to suggest that all of our law enforcement officers are using illegal drugs.
I photographed this .
drove by the other day. it's a 103.5 fox ad. in red they added 'The' police, roll 'ing stones' and doobie 'brothers'. Off of Santa Fe south of town they have a new one that right now that just says cheap young pink. I assume cheap trick, neal young but don't know about the pink.
