Pediatric Center More Appealing to Pedophiles Than Kids
Agenda Inc. sends us this little piece of bad logo design. Hard to believe but this is the actual logo for the Arlington Pediatric Center, an outpatient medical facility for children. At first look, we were sure it was the the Arlington Pedophile Center. Obviously, no one took a good look at this logo before it was approved.

please remove this mean spirited post
In all the years that the Center has been doing outstaning work in Arlington, no one locally ever attributed the perverted meaning to the logo which you present here. Wouldn't it be nice if people actually helped poor kids get the medical attention they need rather than dream up perverted ideas about innocent logos.

Um, do you know how many thousands of people have seen that logo and laughed at it for the same reasons?
It's posted on "Bad logo design" sites, general humor sites and many other popular sites as a generally crappy (and hilarious) logo.
They need to redesign instead of whining.
My friends and I also thought that the logo and the words were pedophile instead of pediatric ... now unless we are all "mean-spiritied" and have nothing better to do than dream up perverted logos, then obviously there is something wrong with this logo. I DO help children who need it, I am a probation officer, and I work directly with children and their counselors and psychologists and psychiatrists, so help the kids on my case load get the help they need.
Get off your high horse asdf and EMI
The first thing that crossed my this is a non-profit that probably depends on volunteers to a great degree to accomplish its mission. And, this logo seems to be calling to all pedophiles to sign up as volunteers. Scary!
This is not mean-spirited by any means. Adrants is providing a real service by joining the criticism of such a questionable mark.
Ok I can see where no one local would say anything about the logo because it might be seemingly curious on why someone would bring that subject up specially when they are in there for business. But from someone else's point of view who is not there in person business and see's this logo on paper's or in the mail or on web sites might think differently. Because there atomosphere is different. I agree with EMI's comment but along with helping kids get medical attention one can change the nature of the current "innocent" logo :) ANd God Bless APC
Since this has picked up recent increased exposure again, I just thought I'd state for the record: that's not a real logo. The real arlington pediatric center has a completely different logo. The "logo" that's "right there" on the "front of the building" isn't actually there. It's shopped in. And the real live "links" that actually reference the center "for real" are bogus.
Enough is enough. Yes, someone DID actually dream this up. And then made a laughing stock of a healthcare facility that serves a vital role in saving lives. Just for their own sick entertainment.
You people actually waste time perpetuating this crap?
