Britney Spears Gets Married And No One Cares

Early Saturday morning, Britney Spears married childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in Las Vegas. It was apparently cooked up between the two Friday night at Ghostbar in the Palms Casino Hotel. It's also apparently a mistake according to a source close to Spears who is already seeking an annulment.

Tony Pierce wonders why most media outlets and many blogs haven't even covered the news yet. I saw the story early Sunday morning and just couldn't bring myself to write about it. So she got married. Big deal. Paris did a porn video. We write about this shit but we don't really care. We are all so jaded that nothing really surprises us anymore and that's the mood I was in this morning and that's why I didn't write about it until now. The only reason I write about it now is if I don't, I'll be labeled some slow-ass blogger who's totally disconnected from the world's events. So there you have it. Britney's married. Sort of.
