Crest Kids Called Upon to Smooch in 3D

Mooching off the 3D Super Bowl shenanigans, Crest and Digitas launched Kiss Me in 3D, a site that promises all the steam and slobber of a warm, lusty body. All you need to fully realize the experience is a pair of 3D glasses and an extremely vivid sensory imagination.

Once outfitted in the specs Digitas hopes you didn’t throw away over the weekend, pick a make-out partner. Then choose three kissing styles to get the party started.

On top of the obviously non-existent tactile experience (and the fact Rembrandt ran with the kissing thing in 2007), we were kinda disappointed in how the kissing styles were stitched together. There’s a long, awkward lag between each one, leaving us with the sense that cyber boytoy Fernando wasn’t really into it.

In an ideal situation, making out is a smooth, uninterrupted demonstration of all the magical things two people can do with their mouths. Crest’s make-out session vibes like the studious experiments you conduct with playmates when you’re 10: “Okay, now I’m gonna hang upside-down and kiss you with my eyes closed. And then you can do that weird thing with your tongue.”
