Xiaxue Was iJustine Before Justine Became iJustine

Back in 2004, Singapore resident Wendy Cheng, aka Xiaxue was just a blogger. But a very popular blogger. in Singapore, at least. Then, in 2005, a t-shirt company LocalBrand approached her to become their brand ambassador. It was sort of a big deal back then for a brand to tap the popularity of a blogger.

Xiaxue was sort of like iJustine before iJustine became iJustine.

Now, she’s doing a series of Guide to Life videos on Clicknetwork.tv. Most recently, she did a video in which she compared a fake Chinese iPhone to the actual iPhone. The video has found its way to The Viral Chart’s top ten.

Currently, Xiaxue’s iPhone video has 74,444 views on Viral Video Chart. Not a lot of views compared the most popular viral videos but it’s only been out for a day. Give it time. Next March, we might see Xiaxue running around the streets of Austin at SXSW with an iPhone in her hands, a Flip in her purse and a Qik-powered Nokia strapped to her head. Maybe even a 6th Street throw down as Xiaxue crosses paths with iJustine both fronting poses of Internet Famous in an East meets West geek out.
