Taco Bell, Sports Illustrated Toss Aspiring Photographers a Bone

direct-daniella.jpg

Want to photograph models like Daniella Sarahyba for a living? Go for it — just not for money — courtesy of Taco Bell and Sports Illustrated. Pick the location and plan her moves based on a series of options. She’ll say things like, “Oh, are you the new photographer?” and play the spoilsport when it’s too windy.

Snap photos with your mouse and send the results to your friends, who will titter over your objective lameness.

The photo shoots are riddled with Taco Bell swag. Daniella changes into her swimsuit from behind a giant Taco Bell beach towel — and in some shots, she’s even wearing a Taco Bell bikini. Subtle, guys.

The Direct Daniella campaign was put together by DraftFCB, Orange County, and promoted at MTV.com, ESPN.com and in Taco Bell stores.

Researchers who study charisma have found it isn’t a fixed trait some people are simply born with, training people in a specific set of verbal and nonverbal tactics — vivid metaphors, rhetorical questions, deliberate pauses — measurably increased how charismatic they were rated by others afterward.
