That’s the imagery Vancouver-based hosting firm Peer1 channels in “Slacker,” a video ad where a lazy techie fails to equip his company website for a click-through deluge. Enter said “deluge.” The piece concludes, “Peer1: Fully scalable hosting solutions.”
Problem, solution. Simple.
Put together by indie agency Rethink. Semi-interesting backstory: Rethink planned on building thousands of Styrofoam arrows to shoot this ad. But then visual effects studio Lux came along and was all, “Bitch, in the 21st century we just CGI that shit on in post-production.”* Gangsta-gangsta. And everyone lived happily ever after.
