Oprah Delivers Touching Message to Military in Chrysler Super Bowl Ad

There is a camp that thinks brands who thank the military for their service are pandering and gratuitous. There are others who think there simply isn’t enough we can do to thank out military for their service.

Chrysler and Oprah delivered a touching two minute commercial just prior to the second half of the Super Bowl. In the ad, Oprah delivered a strong and touching message to the men and women who serve in our military. She said they are missed. They are needed. They are loved.

Oprah goes on to say, “And in out hearts, you have neen missed. You ‘ve been needed. You’ve been cried for, prayed for. You’ve been the reason we push on. Half the battle is just knowing this is half the battle. Because when you’re home we’re more than a family, We are a nation. That is whole. Again.”

Come on, you can’t help but shed at least a tiny tear after viewing this. Even our jaded eyes welled up a bit after watching.

This work follows the equally moving Clint Eastwood commercial, Halftime in America, which ran during last year’s halftime.
