
Its time for New York Festivals again! And there’s no boring call for entry email on this one. Nope. The organizers went all out this time, pulled out all stops, worked for months creating…wait for it…yes, a YouTube video!
In the video, you can watch various creative pontificate about the “process” and “words” and “recognition” and “creative excellence” and “effort” and “power” and 15 minutes of fame” and, and, and…well, just watch.
Listen to R/GA Creative Director Robert Rasmussen (the agency lets its creatives speak to the outside world?), Big Spaceship (the name is apt) Founder & CEO Michael Lebowitz, AKQA ECD Lars Bastholm (he’s in awe!) and perfectly 5 o’clock shadowed New York Festivals president Michael O’Rourke who promises “the world will see your work and know that you’re responsible for creating it.”
O’Rourke also says the event is all about “stretching your fifteen minutes of fame into a whole year’s worth of recognition.” Ooo…doesn’t that just give you goose bumps? We felt the chill.
So get your work in and get your fifteen minutes…uh…year’s worth of fame.
