NBC and CBS Execs Fight Over Who Has the Biggest…

In classic CEO chest beating fashion, two of the nation’s top television executives are bitching about who has the biggest wad…of money, that is. First, we get Les Moonves of CBS claiming, “NBC grosses more [revenue] than we do, but we make more profit.”

Well Mort Zucker over at NBC hears this and counters, “That was one of the more laughable claims of the year. Just because he says something doesn’t mean it’s true.”

So who really is the biggest? Hoping to prevent a bitch-slapping spectacle, market research company, Kagan Media Worldwide gave the nod to Moonves stating CBS’s expected gross profit would be $700 million and that NBC’s would be “only” $670 million.

There you have it, boys. [via MediaWeek]
