IRC Turns Arcade Toy Into Unlikely Saviour of the War-Torn

darfur_irc.jpg

The International Rescue Committee, which tries its best to incorporate confused war-torn refugees in melting-pot communities with hand-me-down dishes, taps Draft FCB out of NY to put together a print campaign that walks the gossamer line between playful and dead-serious.

The result? A country at war in a prize snatching machine. If we’d known as kids that those games would prep us for refugee relief, we would probably, well, freak out – mainly because we’d worry that we too were living inside a prize snatching machine without knowing it. (Are we?)

See Afghanistan. Nice work here.
