How SEO Killed the Corn Farmer

SEO? Say What? Yea, search engine optimization. Heard of it? No? Well if you haven’t, you don’t know much about online marketing. But that doesn’t really matter because OneUpWeb does know that they can help those that don’t.

So how does an SEO company talk about the mundane aspects of far-from-Cannes but more-meaningful-than-Cannes marketing tactics? It creates an eight chapter video, of course. And that’s what How SEO Killed the Corn Farmer is all about.

Hoping their future spokesperson is George Clooney, the narrator tells the story of corn farmer Joe, Oscar Mayer Wienermobile wannabe-driver Gertie, Reeces Pieces, Coors Light, Mr. Potato Head, a Hobbity thing, Hanz, large-chested women (they’re in every story don’t youo know?) and a cryogenically frozen Walt Disney.

See? SEO doesn’t have to be boring.Of course, OneUpWeb does much more than SEO but “How Online Marketing Killed the Corn Farmer” was a bit broad for a story title.

People who build wealth without anyone noticing usually aren’t doing anything dramatic, they’ve just replaced three ordinary decisions with automatic ones: retirement contributions that come out before a paycheck is seen, a savings rate that rises quietly with every raise, and a lifestyle that stays flat while income doesn’t
