Hey! The CLIOs Are Coming! The CLIOs Are Coming!

clio_50.jpg

Yup, and as we mentioned before, the CLIOs are making their first appearance in Las Vegas May 12-14 where they will celebrate the organization’s 50th anniversary at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

There will be keynotes. There will be sessions. There will be parties. There will be networking. Oh, and there will be awards too. On and there’s a Facebook page too, natch.

The keynote speakers are Tony Granger, global chief creative cirector, Young & Rubicam, Rob Reilly, partner/co-executive creative director, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Russ Klein, president, global marketing, strategy and innovation, Burger King Brands, Inc.

If you’re planning on having your work considered, the cal for entries deadine is March 2 so get your creativity together, package it up and ship out out.

And, bonus…given the shitty economy and the relative cheapness of Vegas compared to other locations, hotel rooms at the Hard Rock can be had for $132 a night. Even your paltry awards budget can afford that. and if it can’t, do some sleuthing. We’ve seen hotel rooms (at the good casinos, not the crappy ones) for less than $100
