Help Fight Crime! Don’t Worry, No One Will Know.

We’re pretty keen on this PSA campaign launched by Greater Vancouver Crime Stoppers, which hopes to curb up yonder by encouraging citizens to leave tips.

The image depicts a convenience store robbery. Everything is unrecognizably pixellated except for the criminal, who appears in condemning clarity, blazoning a big mean gun.*

“You remain anonymous. Criminals don’t,” slogan says, followed fast by the Crime Stoppers logo, phone number and link to solvecrime.ca, where visitors can leave anonymous information directly.

Rendered for you with delicious clarity, entirely pro-bono, by DDB Canada’s Vancouver office. Expect to see the work on billboards and in print.

* And we’re thinking, do criminals in Canada just not like ski masks and long sleeves? That’s cute.
