Go Topless Day Organized by Raelian Movement

If you live in San Francisco (or any other major city) you may have seen an inordinate amount of topless men and women wandering around topless for GoTopless.org, an organization the supports the notion women should be able to legally bare their breasts in public.

The stunt was organized by the Raelian Movement, that cultish group that believes “that life on Earth was the result of scientific creation by an advanced, extraterrestrial human civilization, the Elohim, mistaken for gods in the Bible.”

One of the bare chested woman, 23-year-old Angela Oliver said, “We should be able to do everything that men can, and I like my boobs and I like being naked, so here I am. I don’t feel like I’m being sexual right now by being topless. It’s completely natural.”

As much as we love nudity, there are some things that just aren’t appropriate in public. While this may come as a surprise, we think women AND men should keep their shirts on in public. On the beach is another story but walking around topless in a city just ain’t right. Call us crazy but one of the reasons we get excited about nudity is because it’s scarce. If everyone walked around nude all the time, our sensitivity to excitement would be dulled even more than it already is.

Keep your shirts on in public, people.
