The O.C. and Wonder Falls are two new dramas Fox will launch this Summer. The O.C. is about a public defender and Wonder Falls is about a woman who can talk to things (as opposed to people).
“Premiering some of our shows early will give us a lot more flexibility than we have had in previous years,” said Preston Beckman, Fox EVP of strategic program planning.
“The more original, scripted programming during the summer, the better. Fox’s strategy is something the advertisers will embrace,” said Andy Donchin, senior vp/director of national broadcast for Carat North America.
