Because if Mom’s Not Voting Like You Would, She’s Doing it Wrong

I’m sure a handful of wily degenerates have fantasized about rigging this year’s election results in their favour. Or voting 30 times instead of once.

Given that you can’t do either of those things without great risk, consider making your mom vote for your candidate of choice. She gave birth to you; we’re sure she’d do it just to keep you from hitting her up for money this month.

As a volunteer project, several people from The Martin Agency and some VCU Brandcenter students launched No Mom Left Behind, a site that lets users send Mom a pro-Obama e-card, complete with cheesy template and personalized message.

The best part? It’ll auto-populate your “card” (read: propaganda sheet) with news stories about how Obama champions stuff she cares about. (Choose from a set of topics, including technology, the economy, and taxes.)

Neat idea. Would’ve been neater if you could customize the candidate. (By now, even I’m sick of the Obamarama hype train.) Also, my e-card had a typo.

Come on, Martin. It’s “Barack,” not “arack.” I don’t know about your mom, but my mom notices that kinda stuff.
