Agency Creates Facebook Timeline-Inspired RFP

Every time we receive something from an agency that falls into the category of self promotion or that promises to offer an “inside look” at how the agency works, we cringe as memories of the tragic Agency.com Subway pitch video engulf our mind.

Thankfully that wasn’t the case when we received and reviewed the Facebook Timeline-based RFP Santa Rosa agency The Engine is Red submitted to the North Lake Tahoe Marketing Cooperative which is seeking an ad agency.

To fully experience Tahoe’s North Lake, the agency set out April 15 to experience 50 North Lake landmarks and events. They chonicled the work in a video, created a dedicate Facebook page for the RFP and submitted an RFP that mirrored the look an feel of a Facebook Timeline.

We could laud the work for taking advantage of social media…blah, blah, blah. But what the entire RFP process revealed was the agency’s zeal, excitement, experience, and desire to put all they have into this account.

We don’t yet know if they won the account but they certainly deserve to.
