According to Greenpeace, Even Trees Have Sex

OK, so this has been covered everywhere but it isn’t news until it appears on Adrants. Oops. Sorry about that pompous attitude. Just read a Bob Garfield article and it must have had an undue influence. Anyway, Greenpeace, much like PETA, often resorts to sensationalistic tactics when it comes to its advertising campaigns. This recent bit of tree hugging is no different.

Like two horny 14 year-olds making a goofy faux-porn sex video to upload to YouTube, Greenpeace is playing with wood and orgasmic metaphors to encourage people…Come Together For Forests. Yes, that’s the actual tagline to the spot.Honest.

It must be nice cranking out advertising for Greenpeace, or PETA for that matter. The formula is so simple. Sex + Shock = Publicity. You have to wonder why every other brand doesn’t adopt this tries and true marketing methodology.

Give it a watch though the soundtrack may cause your cube mates to wonder what just what the hell you are doing in your cube.
